Julian Andrews

Founder

This foundation was born from the deepest personal loss: the death of my identical twin, Joey, by suicide. His passing was the catalyst for Find Something Purple, but the mission grew even more urgent as I navigated the heartbreaking loss of several other family members and close friends to suicide over the years. These experiences have profoundly deepened my commitment to mental health advocacy and prevention. Today, as an Advanced EMT serving a local Georgia county and preparing to enter paramedic school, I witness the critical gap in emergency mental health resources every day on the front lines. My clinical experience has opened my eyes to the desperate need for community-based support that bridges the gap between crisis and healing. I have dedicated my life to ensuring no one faces their darkest moments alone, combining my professional training with the empathy of one who truly understands this journey. My mission is to provide you with the resources, hope, and strength to keep going. I am here to help you Find Something Purple whenever the world feels gray.
